This transformative renovation of a 1904 villa blends old and new with a thoughtful, contextual approach that creates not only a home but a piece of urban design. The design prioritises flexibility, allowing the home to evolve with its occupants' needs over time. The impeccable detailing and craftsmanship elevate this small home into something truly extraordinary, embodying both character and modernity. Winner of Best House Aotearoa and Best Reuse & Renovation at the 2024 HERE Awards, this project stands as a testament to the power of creative, sustainable design.
