Plumbline designed our new website with OUR customer in mind. We challenged them to modernize our look as well as to honor our history and they were able to deliver. The new site needed to tell our story but also be an excellent e-commerce platform for our online consumers – we feel very strongly that it has accomplished both. Plumbline was able to produce an exceptional design at a very reasonable cost. We will definitely be using them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone designing a new site.
This project was an exercise in asset organization and delivery. Since I was working on the front-end only, the key was to feed front-end assets to a third party in a phased rollout. To meet this end, I created a php-driven asset approval and delivery system. And used Disqus as a commenting engine so that clients and vendors could communicate any changes to us.
